Sync your Waymaker calendar to your phone, tablet, or computer.

Apple devices — already done

If you've installed the Waymaker OS configuration profile on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac (see Set Up Email on iPhone & iPad or Set Up Email in Apple Mail), your calendar is already syncing — there's nothing else to do.

Open the Calendar app and you'll see Waymaker OS as a calendar source. New events sync near-instantly in both directions.

If you only want the calendar (no email or contacts), use the Calendar-only setup instructions for your platform below.

Calendar-only setup

These instructions add only the calendar — they do not add email or contacts. For the all-in-one approach, install the configuration profile instead.

Server settings

SettingValue
Serverdav.waymakerone.com
UsernameYour full email address
PasswordYour email token

For most clients, the server name alone is enough — they discover the calendar automatically. If your client requires a full URL, see Manual Settings Reference.

Find your email token in Commander → EmailSettings (gear) → Setup tab → Your Credentials.

iPhone & iPad (CalDAV only)

  1. Open SettingsCalendarAccounts
  2. Tap Add AccountOther

  4. Enter:
    • Server: dav.waymakerone.com
    • User Name: Your full email address
    • Password: Your email token
    • Description: Waymaker
  5. Tap Next, then Save

Your Waymaker calendars appear in the Calendar app within a minute.

macOS (CalDAV only)

  1. Open System SettingsInternet Accounts
  2. Click Add Account
  3. Select Add Other AccountCalDAV account
  4. Set Account Type to Manual
  5. Enter:
    • User Name: Your full email address
    • Password: Your email token
    • Server Address: dav.waymakerone.com
  6. Click Sign In

Your calendars appear in the Calendar app within a minute.

Android with DAVx5

Android doesn't ship with built-in CalDAV support. The DAVx5 app handles it.

  1. Install DAVx5 from Play Store (or F-Droid)
  2. Open DAVx5 and tap the + button
  3. Select Login with URL and user name
  4. Enter:
    • Base URL: https://dav.waymakerone.com/
    • User name: Your full email address
    • Password: Your email token
  5. Tap Login
  6. Choose which calendars (and address books, if you also want contacts) to sync
  7. Tap the sync icon

Calendars now appear in your device's Calendar app — and any other calendar app that reads the system calendar provider.

Windows Outlook with CalDAV Synchronizer

Outlook on Windows desktop doesn't have built-in CalDAV. The free CalDAV Synchronizer add-in handles it.

  1. Download CalDAV Synchronizer from outlookcaldavsynchronizer.sourceforge.io
  2. Install and restart Outlook
  3. Open the CalDAV Synchronizer tab
  4. Click Synchronization Profiles, then Add new profile
  5. Select Generic CalDAV/CardDAV
  6. Configure:
    • Name: Waymaker Calendar
    • Outlook Folder: Select your calendar folder
    • DAV URL: https://dav.waymakerone.com/
    • Username: Your full email address
    • Password: Your email token
  7. Click Test or discover settings — it'll find your calendar automatically
  8. Click OK

If discovery fails, fall back to the full path. See Manual Settings Reference.

Thunderbird

  1. Open Thunderbird
  2. Go to FileNewCalendar
  3. Select On the Network and click Next
  4. Enter:
    • Username: Your full email address
    • Location: https://dav.waymakerone.com/
  5. Click Find Calendars
  6. Enter your email token when prompted
  7. Select your calendar from the list and click Subscribe

Thunderbird discovers your calendars from the server name alone.

Troubleshooting

"Cannot connect to server"

  • Verify your email token is correct (find it in Commander → Email → Settings → Setup → Your Credentials)
  • Confirm the server is dav.waymakerone.com
  • Check your internet connection

If your client doesn't auto-discover from the server name, try the full URL form. See Manual Settings Reference for the path-based fallback.

"Authentication failed"

Reset your token and try again:

  1. In Commander, go to EmailSettingsSetupYour Credentials
  2. Click Reset Token to generate a new one
  3. Update the password in your calendar app with the new token

Calendar doesn't appear

  • Wait a minute for initial discovery
  • Confirm the calendar is enabled in your app's settings
  • Try removing and re-adding the account

Events not syncing

  • Pull down to refresh in your calendar app
  • Confirm sync is enabled in your account settings
  • Check that background data is allowed for the app

Certificate error

  • Confirm you're using dav.waymakerone.com
  • Check your device's date and time are correct
  • Update your operating system

Tips

Multiple calendars

If you have multiple calendars in Waymaker (Personal, Work, etc.), all of them are discovered and offered when you connect. Pick the ones you want; you can add others later.

Color coding

Most calendar apps let you assign a color to each calendar. Color-code your Waymaker calendar to distinguish it from others.

Sync frequency

CalDAV sync frequency depends on the client — typically every 15–60 minutes by default. Reduce the interval in your app's settings for faster updates.
