Commander
Organization Management
Learn about Organization Management in WaymakerOS.
OrganizationStructure
Your organisation is the top-level container in Commander. It holds your workspaces, teams, roles, goals, and settings.
Organization structure
Commander follows a clear hierarchy:
Organization
├── Workspaces
│ ├── Projects
│ │ ├── Taskboards
│ │ ├── Documents
│ │ ├── Sheets
│ │ ├── Tables
│ │ ├── Forms
│ │ ├── Presentations
│ │ └── Dashboards
│ └── ...more projects
├── Teams
├── Roles (Org Chart)
└── Goals (OKRs)
Everything lives under your organisation. When you invite a team member, they join your organisation and gain access to the workspaces and projects you assign them to.
Organization settings
Access organisation settings from WaymakerOne. As an admin, you can:
- Edit organisation name and profile — your display name and branding
- Manage members — invite, deactivate, change roles
- View billing — subscription tier, usage, invoices
- Configure domains — email domains, sending domains, form domains
Member roles
Four roles control access across your organisation:
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Account Owner | Everything — billing, deletion, all settings |
| Org Admin | All settings, teams, mail, billing |
| Team Manager | Team management, API keys, form domains |
| User | Access to Commander tools in assigned workspaces |
Roles are assigned in WaymakerOne. See Understanding Roles for details.
Multi-organization support
You can belong to multiple organisations. Switch between them from the user menu in the top-right corner. Each organisation has completely isolated data — nothing crosses between them.
