Organization Billing Model
One Bill, Mixed Tiers
Your organization has one billing cycle (monthly or annual) but can assign different license tiers to different users. This is the key to cost optimization.

Adding and Upgrading Users
Changes are prorated:
- Adding users: Charged for the remainder of the billing cycle
- Upgrading tiers: Pay the difference, prorated

Token Allowances and Overages
Each license tier includes a monthly AI token allowance for One AI features:

Preventing Overages
By default, usage stops when you hit your limit — you won't be charged overages unless you opt in. When your tokens are exhausted, AI features pause until the next billing cycle or until you add more capacity.
Organizations can choose to allow overages if they prefer uninterrupted AI access:
- Hard cap (default): AI features stop when limit reached — no surprise charges
- Allow overages: Continue using AI beyond your limit at overage rates
To change your overage policy, go to WaymakerOne > Organization > Billing > Usage Settings.
Adding More Capacity
If you regularly hit your limit, consider:
- Upgrade user tiers — Business users get 3x the tokens of Platform
- Add credit packs — Purchase additional monthly capacity without changing tiers
- Enable overages — Pay-as-you-go for occasional high-usage months
