Organise your Rushes into libraries, share with public links, embed on websites, and track who watched.
Sharing a Rush
Generate a share link
- Open the Rush you want to share
- Click Share
- A public link is generated and copied to your clipboard
- Share the link with anyone — they don't need a Waymaker account to watch
The share URL format is: rushes.waymakerone.com/{unique-slug}
Sharing options
From the Rush settings, configure:
- Status — Private (only you), Published (anyone with the link), or Archived
- Password protection — require a password to watch
- Expiration date — automatically disable the share link after a set date
- Comments — toggle whether viewers can leave time-coded comments
- Edit access — control who can edit the Rush (owner only, admins, or all members)
Embedding
Generate an embed code to display a Rush on a website or in documentation:
- Open the Rush in a library
- Click the embed icon
- Copy the provided
<iframe>code - Paste into your website HTML
The embed plays at 640x360 by default.
Rush libraries
Creating a library
Libraries group related Rushes — for example, all onboarding videos or all sprint demos.
- Create a new library from the Rushes section
- Give it a title and description
- Record new Rushes into the library, or move existing ones in
Library settings
Open library settings from the gear icon. Three tabs are available:
Overview
- Edit title and description
- Set status (private, published, archived)
- Control edit access (owner, admins, or all members)
Members
- View who has access to the library
- Manage team member permissions
Sharing
- Toggle public access
- Set share access level (view only or edit)
- Enable password protection
- Set expiration date
- Copy public URL
- Revoke sharing
Archiving and deleting
- Archive — soft-deletes the library but preserves all Rushes
- Delete — permanently removes the library (only available if empty)
View analytics
Rush owners can see analytics for their recordings:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Total views | Number of times the Rush was watched |
| Completed views | Viewers who watched to the end |
| Completion rate | Percentage of viewers who finished |
| Average watch time | How long viewers typically watched |
Individual view records show:
- Who watched (user or guest)
- How long they watched
- Whether they completed it
- When they viewed it
Downloading
To download a Rush as a video file:
- Open the Rush in the library view
- Click the download icon
- The video saves as a
.webmfile
