Email MarketingCampaigns

Send email campaigns to your audience. Journeys handles broadcasts, autoresponders, and multi-email sequences — all from inside Commander.

What are Journeys?

Journeys is Waymaker's built-in email marketing tool. Create email campaigns, segment your audience, build emails visually, and track performance — without needing a separate tool like Mailchimp or ConvertKit.

Campaign types

  • Broadcast — send one email to many people at once (announcements, newsletters)
  • Autoresponder — send an email automatically when a trigger fires (welcome emails, confirmations)
  • Sequence — send a series of emails over time (onboarding drips, nurture campaigns)

Common use cases

  • Welcome email to new customers
  • Weekly newsletter to subscribers
  • Onboarding sequence for new users (day 1, day 3, day 7)
  • Product announcements and feature updates
  • Re-engagement campaigns for inactive users
  • Event invitations and reminders

Key features

Visual email builder

Build emails with a drag-and-drop block editor. Add text, images, buttons, columns, spacers, and dividers. No HTML knowledge required.

Audience segmentation

Send to everyone, a segment, a tag, or a filtered audience. Build segments with conditions like "signed up in the last 30 days" or "located in Australia."

Campaign analytics

Track opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes. See which links get the most clicks and which subject lines perform best.

A/B testing

Test different subject lines or email content against a portion of your audience. Send the winning variant to the rest.
