Campaigns

Learn about Campaigns in WaymakerOS.

CampaignsBroadcasts

Create, configure, and send email campaigns. Choose between broadcasts, autoresponders, and sequences depending on your goal.

Creating a campaign

  1. Go to Tools (Cmd+4) > Journeys
  2. Click New Campaign
  3. Choose a campaign type
  4. Name your campaign
  5. Configure settings and build your email

Campaign types

Broadcast

A single email sent to many recipients at once.

Use for: Newsletters, announcements, product launches, event invitations.

Configuration:

  • Subject line
  • Sender name and email
  • Audience (all, segment, tag, or filter)
  • Send immediately or schedule for a specific date/time

Autoresponder

An email that sends automatically when triggered by an event.

Use for: Welcome emails, form submission confirmations, purchase receipts.

Configuration:

  • Trigger event (e.g., form submission, tag added)
  • Delay (send immediately, or after X minutes/hours/days)
  • Subject line and sender
  • Email content

Sequence

A series of emails sent over time. Each email in the sequence fires after a delay from the previous one.

Use for: Onboarding drips, nurture campaigns, educational series.

Configuration:

  • Add multiple emails to the sequence
  • Set the delay between each email (e.g., Day 1, Day 3, Day 7, Day 14)
  • Each email has its own subject line and content

Campaign status

Scheduling

For broadcasts, you can schedule delivery:

  1. Click Schedule instead of Send
  2. Choose the date and time
  3. Select the timezone
  4. The campaign sends automatically at the scheduled time

Cancel a scheduled campaign any time before it sends.

Duplicating campaigns

To reuse a campaign:

  1. Open the campaign
  2. Click Duplicate
  3. Modify the copy for your new purpose

This preserves the email design, audience settings, and configuration.
