PersonalKanbanTasks

My Tasks is your personal task view — a three-column kanban board that shows tasks assigned to you across all workspaces and taskboards in one place.

The My Tasks kanban

Three columns organise your personal workflow:

ColumnColourPurpose
To DoGrayTasks you haven't started
In ProgressBlueTasks you're actively working on
DoneGreenCompleted tasks

Drag tasks between columns to update your personal status.

Personal status vs taskboard status

My Tasks tracks your personal status independently from the taskboard status. This means:

  • Moving a task to "In Progress" in My Tasks doesn't change its column on the original taskboard
  • Your personal view reflects your progress, not the team's workflow

Syncing to the taskboard

When you mark a task as Done in My Tasks, Commander asks if you'd like to sync the status back to the original taskboard:

  • Yes, update the taskboard — moves the task to the "Done" column on the taskboard
  • No, keep it personal — only updates your My Tasks view

You can check "Remember this choice" to avoid being asked for the same workspace in future.

Task cards

Each task card shows:

  • Title — the task name
  • Workspace badge — which workspace and taskboard the task belongs to
  • Progress bar — drag to update progress from 0–100%
  • Due date — with a calendar icon
  • Priority flag — visual indicator of task priority
  • Traffic light — colour-coded progress (red, orange, yellow, green)

Updating progress

Hover over a task's progress bar to reveal the drag handle. Drag left or right to set a percentage. A tooltip shows the live value as you drag.
