Waymaker One

Single Sign-On

Learn about Single Sign-On in WaymakerOS.

SSOAuthentication

Secure single sign-on (SSO) across all Waymaker apps.

How authentication works

When you sign up or sign in, Waymaker authenticates you securely. One account gives you access to all Waymaker apps:

  • WaymakerOne — account and admin management
  • Commander — your daily tools
  • Host — developer platform (if enabled)

Sign in once and you're authenticated everywhere. No separate logins per app.

Sign-in methods

Email and password

The standard sign-in method. Create a password during signup and use it to sign in.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Add an extra layer of security to your account:

  1. Go to your Profile settings
  2. Click Security
  3. Enable Multi-Factor Authentication
  4. Set up an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.)
  5. Scan the QR code and enter the verification code

Once enabled, you'll need both your password and a code from your authenticator app to sign in.

Session management

Active sessions

View your active sessions from your profile:

  • See which devices you're signed in on
  • See when each session was last active
  • Sign out of individual sessions remotely

Session duration

Sessions remain active for as long as you're using Waymaker. Extended inactivity will require you to sign in again.

Organisation context

Your authentication session includes your organisation context. If you belong to multiple organisations, you can switch between them without signing out and back in.

The organisation context determines:

  • Which data you see
  • Which permissions you have
  • Which billing applies

Security recommendations

  • Use a strong, unique password — don't reuse passwords from other services
  • Enable MFA — especially for Account Owners and Org Admins
  • Review active sessions periodically and sign out of devices you don't recognise
  • Use a password manager — 1Password, Bitwarden, or similar
