Example Conversation

Here is what a typical build looks like with an AI agent:

You: Build me a website for my Italian restaurant called Nonna Maria
     in Fitzroy, Melbourne.

Agent: I'll use the Restaurant & Cafe blueprint to build this.
Let me ask a few questions to get your content right.

       What's your tagline or slogan?

You: "Nonna's recipes, Melbourne's heart."

Agent: Love it. Can you share your menu organised by category?
I need starters, mains, desserts, and drinks with prices.

You: Starters: Bruschetta $14, Arancini $16, Caprese $15
Mains: Lasagna $28, Osso Buco $34, Gnocchi $26
Desserts: Tiramisu $16, Panna Cotta $14
Drinks: House Red $12, Aperol Spritz $18, Espresso $5

Agent: Do you have photos of the restaurant or any signature dishes?

You: I have photos of the interior and a few dishes.
     [shares 6 photos]

Agent: What are your opening hours and contact details?

You: Tue-Thu 5pm-10pm, Fri-Sat 5pm-11pm, Sun 12pm-9pm, Mon closed.
     Phone: 03 9415 1234. Email: hello@nonnamaria.com.au
Address: 128 Smith Street, Fitzroy VIC 3065

Agent: Do you use a booking system like OpenTable or ResDiary?

You: No, people just call to book.

Agent: Got it — I'll add a simple reservation form instead.
       Building your site now...

Your website is live at nonna-maria.waymakerapp.com

       It includes:
       - Hero with your tagline and a "View Menu" CTA
       - Full menu with categories and prices
       - About section with your story
       - Photo gallery (6 images)
       - Reservation form (name, date, time, party size, phone)
       - Contact section with address, hours, phone, and map

You: Can you change the colour scheme to something warmer?
     More burgundy and cream.

Agent: Done — updated the palette to burgundy (#722F37) and cream (#FFF8F0).
       Redeployed to nonna-maria.waymakerapp.com

Design Approach

The blueprint guides the agent toward a warm, inviting aesthetic:

  • Colours: Deep burgundy or forest green, cream backgrounds, gold accents
  • Typography: Serif headings (elegant, restaurant-appropriate), clean sans-serif body
  • Mood: Warm, inviting, appetising — like stepping into the restaurant
  • Layout: Full-width sections, alternating image/text, sticky reservation CTA

Tips for Best Results

Menu is the most important content. Get your menu items organised by category with prices before you start. The menu section is what most visitors come for.

Photos make the difference. Even 4-6 good photos of your food and space elevate the site dramatically. If you don't have professional photos, well-lit phone photos of your best dishes work.

Get your practical details ready. Address, phone, hours, and booking method. These are the most-searched details for any restaurant.

Iterate after the first build. The first version gets the structure right. Then refine: "Make the menu text larger", "Add our Instagram feed", "Change the hero image".
