Form Styling

Learn about Form Styling in WaymakerOS.

StylingBranding

Customise the look and feel of your forms to match your brand. Apply colours, logos, and typography so forms feel like a natural extension of your business.

Brand extraction

When creating a new form, Waymaker can automatically extract your brand colours:

  1. Create a new form
  2. Enter your website URL when prompted
  3. Waymaker's AI analyses your website and extracts primary and accent colours
  4. These colours are applied to your form automatically

You can override any extracted colour manually.

Manual styling

Open the form settings sidebar and click Style & Branding to customise:

Colours

  • Primary colour — used for buttons and active states
  • Background colour — the form page background
  • Text colour — primary text colour
  • Accent colour — highlights and secondary elements

Upload your company logo to display at the top of the form. Supported formats: PNG, JPG, SVG.

Typography

Choose from available font families to match your brand. The font applies to all text in the form — labels, placeholders, help text, and buttons.

Layout

  • Form width — narrow, medium, or wide
  • Alignment — left-aligned or centred

Preview

Click Preview to see your styling applied to the form. The preview shows exactly what respondents will see, including colours, fonts, and logo.

Styling tips

  • Keep it simple — minimal styling performs better. Focus on readable text and clear buttons.
  • High contrast — ensure text is easily readable against your background colour.
  • Brand consistency — use the same colours as your website so the form feels like part of your brand.
  • Mobile-friendly — forms are responsive by default. Preview on a narrow browser to check the mobile experience.

Duplicating styled forms

To reuse styling across multiple forms:

  1. Open a styled form
  2. Click Duplicate in the settings
  3. The duplicate inherits all styling and field configuration
  4. Rename and modify the duplicate for its new purpose

This is faster than restyling each form from scratch.
